Fitness Friday: The Cardio Explosion Circuit

Fitness Friday: The Cardio Explosion Circuit

By Live Well 360 Ambassador Amanda Russell Alright, it’s official! I may already be married, but with spring comes the influx of DRESS SHOPPING! Not only is it the months of Spring and Summer, but all the way through to fall is FILLED with weddings. Also, lets not forget about graduation, and for the younger gals: PROM! All these events are what I like to think of as ‘milestones’, and with every milestone, you want to work towards it, prepare for it, ENJOY the journey and feel the VERY best you can on that day! Looking GREAT comes from FEELING great, and so much of this starts with fitness. So no matter if it’s 10 weddings you have to attend, a graduation OR simply a backyard BBQ — pick out that dress you want to rock and let it inspire you as you SWEAT towards your goal. This Fitness Friday Cardio Explosion Circuit workout breaks exercises is a very specified circuit. All my circuits have elements of strength and cardio movements, but this one is more focused on cardio and will keep your body being shocked and worked to results! So let’s go! Here is the Cardio Explosion Circuit!

The Workout

There’s a reason I called this the Cardio Explosion Circuit! You REALLY need to focus on EXPLODING through each movement! Generate power in your lower body and perform each rep to your full potential. Do these movements as fast as your ability allows, without sacrificing your form. Cardio Explosion Circuit: 3 x 1 minute:
  • Tuck Jumps -10 Seconds
  • Walking Push-Ups – 10 Seconds
  • Mountain Climbers – 10 Seconds
  • 30 second rest
Now Repeat 2 More Times! Total Time:10 minutes Don’t forget to tell me what you think of the Cardio Explosion Circuit in the comments below, or if you have any questions! So what big event are you getting ready for? A wedding? Graduation? Would love to know!
