Sometimes the best “recipes” are the simplest, aren’t they? The ones that are almost not even a recipe at all, just a few ingredients piled together. This recipe is a fantastic healthy afternoon snack that keeps a growling tummy at bay due to the slow absorbing casein protein and the little bit of fat from the cottage cheese, combined with the fibrous carbs found in the berries.


  • 1/2 cup organic low-fat cottage cheese
  • 3/4 cup strawberries, sliced


  • Pile the strawberries in a small dish.
  • Top with cottage cheese.
